This was hilarious. I laughed out loud a few times while falling asleep... this was definitely the most FTNW podcast.

It is interesting that he is lucid and smart but his conversation topic stack overflows at such a low number (few beers?)

Maybe that is his super power.... other people may stumble onto his obviously good ideas then use a few more layers of metacognition to talk themselves out of it due to social pressure

It admired how you were able to bring him back on track every time he spiraled off.

Even if there was nothing good in this episode besides delving into the Quaker Question, this would have been worth it (fortunately there was even more good stuff). Moldbug points out that if you have some powerful force that stops existing, but isn't obviously defeated, you should look into whether they changed forms. However he himself often either considers them pushovers, except once in a while lumping them in with the Calvinists. From what I've heard of Albion's Seed, although I've not read it, they're also considered victims of the "Paradox of Tolerance" with their latest outburst being Richard Nixon.

However, the whole cultural exchange thing or whatever is silly. I grew up in such a "House" and it was pretty dumb. These religions that are not rigid are basically just early childhood parenting themes. They are totally hollowed out in the parts of life when people are actually figuring stuff out, and when maybe religion would help.

If you're worried about our chauvanistic progeny nuking each other, I think a more effective altruism would be to get a better outlet for our intergroup competition. Which brings me to why the true effective altruism is the promotion of Arena Football, like they have in Starship Troopers.

If you’re a young professional in a competitive field living in a desirable city 200-500k still leaves you financially insecure. The opportunity cost for your time is massive at this stage of your life to have a kid. If a private entity wants to boost birth rates in this group they should provide all day every day free daycare in the biggest cities. It’d be political suicide but maybe some natalism group would do it.

Seems like the Longtermists are more concerned with the comings ang goings of Angels than they are with how the Nephilim will penetrate us. Speaking of penetration I was surprised to see how adorable you looked on the BTR podcast, I thought you were more on the Down's side of the spectrum based on your Twitter avatar. In light of this, do you have any older sisters who would be interested in participating in pro-natalist activities Mr. Chau? It would be an honor to join our Lemurian and Atlantean lineages. I have been trying to get Mr. Land to pair me up with a neotenous and high IQ Asian female but I think most of his side chicks are in Canada and likely past their expiration dates.
